3 Reasons Why You Should Invest in a Fitness Franchise

The fitness franchise industry has never been in better shape.

U.S. health club industry is a multi billion dollar industry, according to the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA).  Industry revenue has increased consistently year over year so the opportunity is evident.

  1. Obesity in America

Nearly 70 percent of Americans are considered overweight, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Of this population, about 36 percent of U.S. adults and approximately 17 percent of children and adolescents (2-19 years old) are obese. Being able to change the lives of these Americans can be a benevolent experience. Opening a fitness franchise in your area could essentially save the lives of many who live in fear of their health due to obesity.

  1. Work Environment

Possibly the most promising reason to own a fitness franchise would be becoming your own boss. When you are putting time and countless hours of effort into something you love it no longer feels like work, but rather a hobby you get paid for.  A positive working environment is key for owning a gym. People love the little things that make your gym pleasant, such as, a smile and greeting when they walk in, excellent personal training, and the feeling of “we care.”
